The April showcase is a three day event held at the beautiful Mystic the weekend. It is essentially a mini “dance-centric” vacation that includes a cozy weekend get-away, participating and/or observing all levels of ballroom competition, formal dinners, cocktail parties, professional dance exhibitions, gobs of social dancing, and a great time socializing with all your studio peers and teachers. Participating in the showcase is a goal-oriented way to take your dancing to the next level, making you a more comfortable and savvy social dancer. Showcase dancing is a tool to help bridge the gap between the technical knowledge of steps and the inexplicable ease of a truly confident dancer…because those dancers aren’t born that way, they’re made!

The showcase itself is a high-energy celebration of how the joy of dance manifests itself in our lives; thru friendship and connection, fun and excitement, relaxation and self-discovery, and everyone can do it because everyone dances at their own level, i.e. newcomer, Bronze 1, 2, etc…and we have to maintain our reputation as the studio with the most spirit, so get your sideline cheers and energy bars ready because no one roots for their studio dancers better than Bloomfield
